Yoga Classes                 

Please arrive 15 minutes before class in order to check in and pay, and also bring your own mat. Phones should be left outside studio, turned off or silenced.  Take a few minutes to find a space, get settled, and practice some deep breathing as we prepare for class.  Please note that a 24 hour cancellation notice is required, failure to do so will result in a $15 charge which must be paid to attend any future classes/service appointments. (Please note the cancellation policy below for the Restorative class)

 

RESTORATIVE YOGA 

Will be held the first Monday of the month beginning at 5:30 pm and ending by 7:00 pm.

Mats, blankets, bolsters, and blocks will be provided. You can bring your own mat if desired.

The cost is $20/student. Space is limited and reservations are required. This class requires a cancellation notice no later than the previous Friday. Failure to do so will result in a $20 charge that must be paid before attending any future classes/service appointments.

Tuesday:  

        Yoga Strong (intermediate to advanced format) at 6:00 pm, using 3, 5, or 8 lb dumbbells 

Wednesday:  

         Gentle yoga (focus on range of motion, beginner format) at 12:00 pm, 45 minutes lunchtime flow

         

Private session:  one on one, by appointment only, $40.00 for one hour session.

                       

 

Class description:

 

 Beginner - This class is composed of a series of poses (or asanas) with our focus on an extensive warm up and cool down process sandwiched around a short "work" phase.  Modifications to the poses are implemented frequently, and this class is intended to be a gentle and relaxing experience.

 

 Intermediate - An even amount of time is spent in our warm up, work phase, and cool down.  The poses become a little more challenging, held a little longer, and are strengthening.  

 

 Advanced - Kicking the intensity up with this class, the flow is faster with the emphasis on the work. We will hold the poses longer and transition more rapidly throughout our time on the mat. Upbeat music is a must for this experience. Bring a towel!
